Date: 1/30/06
pH: 6.8 (morning)
Temp: 78
KH: 5
GH: 9
NH4:
NO2:
NO3: 5
PO4: 0.2
Iron: 0.2?
Dosing: 5 mL Flourish, 20 mL Flourish Iron

Notes:
The Stargrass is still growing in very palely. I am dosing a lot of Iron to see if that is the problem. Before, the paleness problem would be fixed when I added Flourish, but the slightly cloudy water had come from too much fertilization, so I decreased the dosage of Flourish in half. I also saw a little bit of green spot algae, and I read online that adding Flourish tends to encourage green spot algae. If adding the extra Iron doesn’t work, I will double up the Flourish again, and decrease the Iron back again.

Since CO2 bubbles were still getting past the reactor and escaping into water/air, I lowered the CO2 rate again from 1.5 to 1 bubble a second.
