  • NO2:
  • NO3: almost 0 after water change
  • PO4: ~2
  • Iron:
  • Dosing: 5 ml Flourish, 2 tsp CaSO4, 1 tsp MgSo4, 15 ppm NO3, 1.8 ppm PO4
  • NO3:PO4 Cumulative Dosing Ratio: 15:1.8 = 8.3

Notes:
Back after 2 week vacation, and the tank looked like a jungle. Someone had come in every other day to add the following to the tank:
5 ml flourish
20 ml Excel
7.5 ppm NO3
1 ppm PO4

When I came back, there surprisingly was a lot of brown algae.

I cleaned the tank out with a 50% water change:
35 ml Excel
1 tsp MgSO4
2 tsp CaSo4
20 ml Amquel+
2.5 tsp baking soda

Later:
5 ml Flourish
15 ppm NO3
1.8 ppm PO4

The tank doesn't look so great, it will probably take another several weeks to get it back into shape again.

One of my two new yo yo loaches. I've noticed small empty snail shells, and I've seen the loaches eat the small snails, making a clicking sound as they try to suck out the snail from its shell. They seem to leave the bigger ones alone, though.
